Softick Card Export 2 (ver2.27)が動作した

コチラの続きで、今回は良い話です。
昨年末にハードリセットしたPalm CentroにSoftick Card Export 2（ver2.27）をインストールしたところ、正常動作しました。
ではなぜ年末に謎のリセットループに陥ったのか？その原因は、

  • Centro“非”対応の旧ver2.25を、はじめにインストールしていた
    • ver2.25をきちんとアンインストールできていなかった
    • その状態で、ver2.27をインストールした為

だと思われます。
Softick社の回答によれば、ver2.27はCentro対応バージョンとのこと*1。つまり、はじめからver2.27をインストールしていれば問題は発生しなかったのだろう、と今は思っています。
Centroユーザで旧verのCard Export 2をインストールし、動作がおかしくなっている方は、以下２つの方法が参考になるかもしれません（ただしデータのバックアップを事前に取っておく等、必ず自己責任にてご対応願います）。

  1. Centroをハードリセットした状態で、“Centro対応”のver2.27をインストールする
  2. 旧ver.を“キチンと”アンインストールした状態で、“Centro対応”のver2.27をインストールする

2番目のアンインストール法について、Softick社からの回答（一部抜粋）を以下に　↓

So either you are using not 2.27 version or you have incorrectly removed previous version of the software.
In any case, please do the following:
a). Uninstall current version of Card Export according to the User Manual.
To uninstall Card Export II correctly, you need to select "Uninstall" menu item in the Card Export menu (accessible by tapping menu button in the graffiti area on the Card Export main screen). Then, you should uninstall Card Export using launcher App/Delete menu.
Perform all reboots required by Card Export II procedures.
b). Delete patched USB driver from RAM manually. Just delete USBDrvr from "Launcher->Delete" menu. Don't be afraid - original driver will remain in ROM!
Perform soft reset; your hotsync ability will be restored.
If USBDrvr will not be found you have to skip current item .

Card Export のアプリ自体で、Uninstallをする（ａ）。そのうえで、 標準ホーム画面からUSBDrvrをDeleteする。USBDrvrが見つからない場合は、ここはスキップ（ｂ）。

c). Download latest 2.27 version of Card Export from our site http://www.softick.com/download.php , install it, register with your serial and try to use.

最新ver2.27を入手して、インストールする（ｃ）
